NextTed has over 31 years of experience in a variety of architectural projects with an emphasis on educational facility design. As Principal for several major addition and renovation projects, he is in charge of client relationships, contracts and meetings, consultant coordination, code review, specifications, and reviewing construction drawings. Ted’s responsibilities also include design, detailing, and preparation of SED submittals. He is active in document quality control and office production planning.

NextMatt has over 18 years of experience in architectural planning, and design, along with presentations, project and team management, and feasibility studies. His responsibilities include all phases of architectural projects, managing design teams, and coordinating projects with consulting engineers. He also is responsible for reviewing construction drawings, document quality control and permitting/approval submissions, including SED.

Alastair has earned a promotion to Associate Principal due to his vast experience, his focus on regional business development, and track record for outstanding client relationships. As a 4th generation architect, he has been involved in all facets of architecture, beginning with initial Owner interaction all the way through to successful project close-out. Alastair maintains his license in the UK in addition to NY State and has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2004.

Becky brings perspective to our production workload while tracking and focusing on outlook planning and implementation. Committed to the final product, he keeps the clients’ needs at the forefront using the latest industry software, new building materials and construction technologies enabling him to deliver projects on time and on needs.

NextA graduate from Alfred State, Kelsey has several years of experience in Architectural Design. Kelsey recently bought her first home. She is extremely passionate about animals and it is her goal in life to open a facility to care for and love as many animals as it can hold. NextJeff joined SEI in May of 2015 as an intern and has plans to become a licensed architect in the future. He is involved in many aspects of a project including space programming, design requirements, finish/furniture selection, coordinating with owner, sub – consultants, code review and in-house project teams. Jeff is accomplished at field documentation and coordinating construction document sets.
Jeff and his fiancé Savannah are currently looking to purchase a house together in the Rochester area. Jeff is an avid skier and hunter. During the winter season he coaches the Swain Alpine Ski Team as well as some high school ski teams.

NextAs a recent graduate from the University at Buffalo, John has 4 degrees: a B.S. in Architecture, a B.A. in Sculpture, a Master of Architecture, and a Master of Fine Arts in Media Arts Production. John has extensive experience in architectural visualizations and several years of architectural design, and is involved in all aspects of design from concept to construction. From his background in architectural visuals, he works to coordinate compelling images, graphic interpretations, and helps to envision designs. He plans on becoming licensed in the future.
John is an avid drummer, snowboarder, and artist. In his free time, he enjoys going on adventures with his girlfriend Jess. They love traveling, enjoying local wineries and breweries in the Finger Lakes, or just being lazy on the boat. He also enjoys going on long motorcycle treks with his parents, girlfriend Jess, his brother Matt, his twin brother Pat and future sister-in-law Renee.

NextSara plans, organizes, directs and assists in controlling the financial functions of the firm as well as managing human resources. In addition, she is responsible for assisting in preparation of financial statements and analyses, as well as budget recommendations and completion of contracts.

NextKaren has been in charge of the Marketing Department for the past 13 years. She is in charge of all marketing materials for the firm, including developing new marketing materials, coordination and preparation of proposals, pre-referendum materials and tracking future work.
In her free time, when not spending time with 8 grandchildren, she’s off to Phoenix where it’s always sunny!

NextLindsey joined us in 2015 as SEI’s senior administrative support. Her extensive administrative experience has helped SEI move forward into using new technology programs to expedite and fulfill project requirements. In addition to the day to day tracking of project schedules, she works diligently with our Project Managers to complete change orders, NY state forms, SED submissions and finalizing construction paperwork.
A Rochester native herself, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband Brian and their Goldendoodle Bentley. When she’s not working, you’ll find her enjoying a glass of wine, boating with friends and playing platform tennis.

NextTracey recently joined SEI in 2018 as an Administrative Assistant in the Binghamton office. She has 32 years of experience working for an architectural and engineering firm. She provides support with tracking submittals, change orders, and any paperwork needed for projects. She has an AAS Degree in Executive Secretarial Science.
Outside of the office, Tracey enjoys singing and songwriting, along with playing the mandolin and guitar with her bands. She loves spending time in nature, and treasures visiting with her two sons.

NextA new addition to the team, Ann-Marie has a proven track record of providing outstanding administrative support for multinational corporations for more than a decade.Her responsibilities include coordinating/managing BCS programs, assisting with completing NYSED forms for submission, and updating the company’s project schedule and budget allocation. She has a degree in Business Administration and a Certificate in Project Management.
Ann-Marie enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures. Her hobbies are reading, dancing and listening to jazz.
