NextTed has over 32 years of experience in a variety of architectural projects with an emphasis on educational facility design. As Senior Principal for several major addition and renovation projects, he is in charge of client relationships, contracts and meetings, consultant coordination, code review, specifications, and reviewing construction drawings. Ted’s responsibilities also include design, detailing, and preparation of SED submittals. He is active in document quality control and office production planning.

As an Associate Principal, he applies his experience of developing a project program, establishing and working through the budget and interacting with clients and consultants one-on-one and in public forums. He works closely with the project architect, consultants and clients in schematic, design development, and the construction document phases. During the construction phase he works jointly with construction managers and clients to accomplish project objectives through planning and evaluating project activities.

As a 4th generation architect, he has been involved in all facets of architecture, beginning with initial Owner interaction all the way through to successful project close-out. Alastair maintains his license in the UK in addition to NY State and has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2004.

Andy's interest in building design was sparked by the fact that his father constructed his boyhood home using a home design program, which led him to pursue a career in architecture. Andrew is OSHA 30 certified and holds asbestos certifications from the states of New York and Pennsylvania. He has expert-level knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Working with Owners, sub-consultants, and in-house project teams, Jen defines, designs, and coordinates project requirements from project inception through project closeout.
Jen lives in Canandaigua, where she is very involved with organizations that support her passion for giving back to her community. Other interests of Jen’s are home renovations, gardening, refinishing old pieces of furniture, hiking with her two black labs and spoiling her niece and nephew.

NextJonathan's design specialties include sustainability, K-12 schools, urban planning, and healthcare. He worked for another local firm for seven years prior to joining SEI in 2022. At SEI he collaborates with project teams to assist in design. He holds a Master of Architecture from Boston Architectural College where he wrote a thesis on creating self-sustaining buildings that utilized the production and consumption of algae as an energy resource, allowing the possibility for buildings to be off-grid. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design with a focus on Urban Planning.
Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time on his sailboats and being outdoors with his dog!

NextA graduate from Alfred State, Kelsey has several years of experience in Architectural Design. Kelsey recently bought her first home and is in the process of obtaining her Master of Science in Construction Management. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys updating, renovating, and decorating her house along with spending time with her pets. With her extreme love for animals, it is Kelsey’s goal to adopt as many as her house and yard can hold.
In the office, Kelsey is responsible for adding details to architectural plans from her knowledge of building techniques and making necessary changes regarding design intent and construction. With assistance from architects and project managers, she is also actively involved in the ongoing review and checking of documents for accuracy and completeness.

NextKiera has 6 years of experience working at SEI, accepting a full-time position in the summer of 2017. She is a graduate of both the Bachelors of Science in Architecture and the Masters of Architecture programs at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Her role as a designer includes supporting the production of a project through all phases, coordinating technical drawings, surveying in the field, solving problems, and explaining how to pronounce her name.
Outside of work Kiera enjoys participating in team sports, practicing yoga, and making anything and everything a D.I.Y. project.

NextLauren joined SEI as a full-time Designer after graduating from the University at Buffalo in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and a minor in Art History. Prior to SEI, Lauren worked as an Auto CAD technician at an engineering firm during school breaks. While not in the office working on projects, she can be found hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

NextLindsey joined us in 2015 as SEI’s senior administrative support. Her extensive administrative experience has helped SEI move forward into using new technology programs to expedite and fulfill project requirements. In addition to the day to day tracking of project schedules, she works diligently with our Project Managers to complete change orders, NY state forms, SED submissions and finalizing construction paperwork.
A Rochester native herself, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband Brian and their Goldendoodle Bentley. When she’s not working, you’ll find her enjoying a glass of wine, boating with friends and playing platform tennis.

NextTracey joined SEI in 2018 as an Administrative Assistant in the Binghamton office. She has 32 years of experience working for an architectural and engineering firm. She provides support with tracking submittals, change orders, and any paperwork needed for projects. She has an AAS Degree in Executive Secretarial Science.
Outside of the office, Tracey enjoys singing and songwriting, along with playing the mandolin and guitar with her bands. She loves spending time in nature, and treasures visiting with her two sons.

Missy joined SEI in 2020 as an Administrative Office Manager in the Albany office. She has over 15 years of experience working for and a co-owner of a construction company. She provides support with tracking submittals and RFI’s, change orders and payment applications, SED submissions and any paperwork needed for projects.
Outside of the office, Missy enjoys going to the dirt track to watch her nephew race, NASCAR races, and NHRA Races. I am very family oriented and love spending time with my teenage sons.
