SEI Design Group was awarded the contract to construct a new Pediatric Behavioral Health & Wellness Center.
The 30,000 square foot facility will be the primary outpatient location for the Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Behavioral Health & Wellness program which treats children with depression, anxiety, psychosis, substance abuse, PTSD, and other behavioral and emotional conditions. Anticipated Program Stakeholders include: Pediatric Behavioral Health & Wellness (13,000 st); Child Partial Hospitalization Program (10,000 st); and Community/Education Space (2,000 st).
The Center will share a site with the Golisano Autism Center at the northeast comer of South Avenue and Science Parkway. The Golisano Autism Center is being implemented via a separate design team with groundbreaking anticipated in Spring 2018.
The new facility will provide the greater Rochester community a new, critically-needed home for child and adolescent behavioral health services.
