The scope of work included additions, renovations, site work to renovate the school’s kitchen and expand the cafeteria. The location of the cafeteria interrupted views to the adjacent sports fields. The design responded to this concern by curving the exterior wall thus eliminating the outside corner. Subsequent interior nested curved walls help organize the eating areas from the entry and the serving lines. Materials such as cultured stone; patterned glass and floating acoustical clouds reinforce the design concept of the initial concept.
