SEI Design Group is currently working on the Greater Rochester International Airport’s (ROC) renovation project. Our portion of the work involves all of the internal areas from ticketing to boarding and back to baggage claim. The integration of a more efficient TSA entry and a centralized boarding and arrival area are key components for both operations and updated security enhancements. The passenger experience is also getting a major update to allow for a more relaxed waiting and boarding experience and integrates technological support and connection throughout.
With all the enhancements, ROC was recently granted the 2018 Most Innovative Medium/Small Hub Airport Award from the Airport innovation Accelerator during its third annual forum in Atlanta. This award recognizes several state-of-the-art and inclusive features included in the project.
