We have great views of downtown from the roof deck of our Rochester office, but the view was improved by a recent visit by the US Air Force Thunderbirds.  Thanks to Justin for the photos.

We all have a mess of gadgets that need charging from phones to pdas to ipods to headsets. Instead of a mess of chargers cluttering your desk, how about this beauty from Bluelounge, The Sanctuary.  This video demonstrates the convenient end to the clutter.  While it looks like you can save $10 on this at J&R as well as other locations, the only place it seems to be in stock is directly from Bluelounge.   It must be really popular and the 2008 IDEA Award announced by Business Week must have increased interest.

Yesterday’s Democrat and Chronicle had an article about Wegmans facade renovation at Ridgement Plaza.  SEI Design Group is the architect for this project which is currently under construction.

John Hill, Daily Dose of Architecture, writes about online books.  Of particular interest is Piel by Ethel Baraona Pohl which shows contemporary images of projects around the world.  The flash format allows you to interact in many ways including google maps.  Incredible!

It was decorated so nicely.  Not sure why Brian needed to add a Hot Seat to his office.  Perhaps he can explain, or at least give us a demonstration of how he uses it.

The press calls it sleek, chic, sexy, bling and best in design and we couldn’t agree more even if they said mojo.

It looks a lot less appealing on the floor than in the microwave.   The other nukers (including the one who reheats coffee over and over) would be glad to give you lessons on how to microwave and then serve your lunch on a plate. 

Podcasting and video podcasting are becoming more popular in the AEC environment.  As we have mentioned before, you can look on Podcast.com and iTunes for podcasts to download and listen to in your leisure.  Here is a site you might enjoy - Construction Netcast.  Trauner Consulting provides construction instruction podcasts.

Google is always coming out with cool features.  In case you don’t know about 1-800-Goog-411, and Street View, here are a couple of videos to help you along.
